Cubierta Solar is a Spanish company specializing in photovoltaic self-consumption systems for the industrial sector. Founded in 2008 by Luis Navarro Buciega, the company designs and installs customized solar energy solutions, including photovoltaic panels for rooftops, solar pergolas, and car parks, as well as high-capacity industrial batteries and electric vehicle charging stations. The company offers turnkey projects that can be 100% pre-financed or structured as a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), which requires no initial investment from the customer. This model provides B2Bes with energy independence and can reduce electricity bills by 30% to 60%. Cubierta Solar serves a wide range of industrial sectors, including textiles, automotive, agro-food, logistics, and large retail establishments. By June 2025, FIEE completed the acquisition, taking 100% ownership to further expand the company’s PPA models and national coverage.
